Drinking Water: Drinking water is available year-round at the park office and visitor center.

Bathroom Facilities: Flush toilet facilities are available year-round at the park office and visitor center. Vault toilets in the park are open year-round.

Showers: No showers at this park.

 

Campgrounds: Park does not have a campground.

 

Contact Notes: Best time to call the park: Daily, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

 

Trail Notes: The park has 18 miles of hiking trail, 5 miles of surfaced bike trail and 10 miles of mountain bike trail. In winter, the park maintains 8 miles of groomed cross-country ski trails and 3 miles of hiking trails. Snowshoeing is permitted anywhere in the park except on groomed ski trails. Both dog sledding and ski jouring are permitted on 7 miles of trail on the Dakota county side of the park. Call the park for more information. Heated trail shelters are available at Picnic Shelter A and the park's Visitor Center.

Season Rentals: Canoe rental is available 8am - 6pm through September 30; $10 for 4 hours or $20 for full day. The park's picnic shelters also are available for rent. Shelter A rents for $200/day and Shelter B rents for $150/day. Call (612) 725-2390 to reserve.

Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: Naturalist programs are offered year-round.
