The snowmobile trail runs parallel on natural treadway for 3.5 miles from the trailhead on Co. Rd 9 to Viola, then veers East to Elgin to connect with other trails.

Getting there
From Rochester take U.S. Highway 14 East to state Hwy 42 N. At Co. Rd. 9 turn west .5 mile to the trailhead.
Parking at County Road 9 Trailhead. Also in the town of Elgin and Plainview.
