Note:
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and correct information to the license agent for the license, lottery application or permit they are requesting. Customers also are responsible for verifying that they have the correct license type, application or permit they requested and that the information (i.e. customer address, zone, permit area, etc.) are correct prior to leaving the agent location.
Additional Information
In 2008, under-subscribed permits will be offered to hunters who applied in the computer preference lottery but were unsuccessful. These permits will be available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Aug. 4 at noon. Please look for a DNR news release or check this page in late July for additional information.

Baiting may not begin prior to Aug. 15. The establishment of bear bait stations is prohibited in Area 22 (Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness) but hunters may use baits or attractants that are attended at all times by the hunter and removed when not hunting.
