Volunteer facilitators present PLT, Project WILD, and Project WET works hope across Minnesota, and help connect project coordinators to local communities.

Requirements of a Volunteer Facilitator?

  • Have an interest and experience in natural resource education.
  • Attend at least three full educator workshops covering PLT, Project WILD, and Project WET.
  • Want to help other educators learn how
    to incorporate environmental education in their classrooms.

How to Become a Volunteer Facilitator

  • Attend a PLT, Project WET and Project WILD educator workshop.
  • *Complete registration application for 2-day Facilitator training from on the Becoming a Minnesota projects facilitator introductory brochure. This is a PDF file. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to download it.
  • Attend the Facilitator Training and become qualified to facilitate a workshop in your area!

    *Facilitator trainings are offered every other year.

Expectations for Volunteer Facilitators

  • Conduct or help conduct at least one workshop every two years.
  • Carry out and perform the workshop as outlined in the Facilitator training and website.
  • Promote the Projects and workshops to educators and youth leaders in your community.
